Established in beautiful Western North Carolina in 1964, Diamond Brand has been a leader in providing the finest outdoor gear and clothing to outdoor enthusiasts and participants in the region. They came to WDG looking for ways to stimulate the brand, play up on their history / heritage and reaffirm their roll in Western North Carolina. Immediate action was required due to the emergence of REI - a national brand - in their backyard.

From this platform we will build on Diamond Brand’s current reputation, building trust and loyalty within the community and properly communicating our core competencies: Service, Selection and Knowledge.
Our reasearch and studies brought us full circle to a logo and mark that pulls familiar elements from the original mark. The diamond and type has been updated to give DBO a contemporary look, while maintaing a subtle connection to the original mark and the older and loyal customer base.
