Objective
At WDG, our objective when designing this piece was to tap into the energy of stumbling upon something unique, unexpected or unexplored. A feeling of unearthing a long-lost treasure, opening a time capsule, accessing a geo-cache…. or just finding a great deal.
To achieve this we used crafty elements, materials and illustrations to create a sense of DIY with the loose designs. We chose grainy images over high quality photography and arranged everything with a quick/spontaneous touch to connect with the on-the-go “Frugal Backpackers” who shop with us.
